Waiter Bullied By Ang Probinsyano Party-List Rep Demands Public Apology
WAITER – The waiter that was hit by Ang Probinsyano congressman Alfred Delos Santos demands a public apology.
Ang Probinsyano party-list representative Alfred Delos Santos was accused of assaulting a service crew at Biggs Diner in Legaspi City on July 7.
The politician and his three male companions were seen on the CCTV footage of the restaurant talking to the waiter named Christian Kent Alejo.
Later on, Alfred Delos Santos stands up and hit the service crew’s head. Luckily, the 20-year-old waiter avoided his punch quickly.
Christian Kent Alejo claimed that the Ang Probinsyano congressman hit him “without any apparent reason.” The video of the incident went viral on social media.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, the service crew that was allegedly bullied by Ang Probinsyano congressman Alfred Delos Santos is demanding a public apology.
The politician has personally apologized to the restaurant employee after the video went viral.
“Pumunta siya dito, sir. Humihingi siya ng dispensa. Ang sabi ko, ‘Kung hihingi ka ng dispensa, mag-sorry ka sa taumbayan na may media. Sabihin mo kung ano ang totoo,” said Alejo.
According to the report, the congressman said he lost his temper because the service crew was saying unpleasant words while catering them. Alejo denied the politician’s claims.
“Kitang-kita po sa camera… Paalis na po ako, tinawag niya po ako. Ang sabi niya sa akin, ‘Bakit ang sama mo makatingin?” Alejo said.
“Ang sagot ko doon, ‘Di naman po, sir,” said the waiter.
Based on the report, the waiter also clarified to the online community that he was not extorting money from Alfred Delos Santos.
“Kahit piso wala kaming hiningi o kinuha sa kanila,” said Alejo.
Ang Porbinsyano party-list has yet to release a statement regarding the incident and if it would affect the Delos Santos’ status in the Congress.
