Mexico’s Football Team Just Won 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup
MEXICO VS USA – Mexico’s national football team won against United States men’s national soccer team in the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Gold Cup is one of the continental bodies under FIFA established as governing bodies for football associations.

The recent match between USMNT and El Tri concluded with Mexico’s team taking the lead.
After an intense physical match up, keeping tight gaps, Mexico’s Jonathan Dos Santos was able to score putting a 1-point lead in the scoreboard.
He was able to make the goal 73 minutes into the game, beating United States in a 1-0 lead on Sunday night. This is the eight title of Mexio from the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Although three of their top forwards were missing, the Mexican team still played through and won. The American team was playing with a new coach – Gregg Berhalter.
The best player, so far, for the US Team was the young athlete Christian Pulisic. Pulisic is a 20 year old midfielder. He showcased his football skills with impressive speed and his ability to create chances for scoring.
In the 51st minute throughout the game, Jordan Morris – an Amrican goalkeeper beat Guillermo ‘Memo’ Ochoa with a header from Pulisic’s corner kick. Andrés Guardado however, was able to deflect it at the goal line.
At the 87th minute, Cristian Roldan had an open chance to tie the score with a goal but his attempt was denied after his shot hit Héctor Moreno and bounced off.
