Here’s how to properly use these various types of makeup brushes.
MAKEUP BRUSHES – These proper and essential things we use to apply makeup in our face, such as brushes, actually has various types and appropriate usage.
Everyone would definitely and probably want to look neat, beautiful, and presentable. And one way that helped us a lot with this is the creation of makeup. We have this eye shadow, lipstick, blush on, contour, foundation, primer, and among others to do with our whole face. And with the varied parts, brushes of different kinds are also produced to do it properly and beautifully. And also for you not to be confused in case you wanted to buy one.

- FOUNDATION BRUSH – For application of foundation. Its tight bristles is perfect to achieve a smooth finish.
- STIPPLING BRUSH – It feathery ends result to an “airbrush effect”. This is also creates a base.
- POWDER BRUSH – This is for loose or compact powder to help you not look like have that “crinkle effect” on your face. This is for setting and touching up.
- BLENDING SPONGE – Slightly damp it not to point of being soaked to smoothly blend the makeup. The wider side for cream in the face and the thinner one to reach the narrow side of the face such as the sides of nose and eyes.
- CONCEALER BRUSH – To smoothly cover up your zits and other dark spots then blend out.
- FAN POWDER BRUSH – This is wide like a fan to dust off powder to result a velvety effect on skin and also to remove excess powder in the face.
- BLUSH BRUSH – This round brush is use to put color on the cheeks whether you wanted to look like natural or achieve the “drunk” effect.
- FACE CONTOUR BRUSH – The slant angle is used beneath the cheekbones and the jaw part for a finer and defined look.
- EYESHADOW BRUSH – Gently use this brush to blend desired color for eyeshadow in the lids.
- DEFINING BRUSH (2-in-1) – This is for the eyebrow. The stick has two sides – the spooled and angled.
- LIP BRUSH – This is for a polished and fuller look of lips.
- HIGHLIGHTER BRUSH – This is to put some shimmer and of course, highlight you features for a more beautiful look. Put little on cheekbones, brow bones, Cupid’s bow, and to other parts that light hits naturally.
But how do you choose your brush? First, always consider the feel of the brush in your skin, the length, the weight, the natural and synthetic bristles that work respectively to have a nice finish and for liquid makeup. Then, assess if it is easy to clean and don’t hesitate to buy if its quite pricey as you are the ones who will use and own those high-quality brushes.
