PAGASA Announces Low-Pressure To Affect PH Weather
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area spotted near Zamboanga del Sur was expected to bring cloudy skies and rains over parts of the Philippines.
On Friday (July 5, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates.
PAGASA said that a low-pressure area was located at 40 kilometers east of Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur.
The LPA would bring scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro, northern Mindanao, and SOCCSKSARGEN.
The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila, Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro as well as the remaining parts of the country.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
