Sahaya Stars Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix On Being Pitted Against Coco Martin’s Show FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano
BIANCA UMALI – Sahaya stars Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix get honest about their show being pitted against Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
GMA-7 has counter parted FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano for several times now such as Cain at Abel, Victor Magtanggol, and Kara Mia.
The Kapamilya show’s latest rival Kara Mia just ended and now the show was facing another tough challenger, Sahaya.
Kapuso actors Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix starred the drama series Sahaya. The show has been doing great in the rating game against ‘The General’s Daughter’ of Angel Locsin.
In a previous article, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remained as the most watched show in the Philippines.
The show beat Kara Mia’s national tv ratings during its final episode and the premiere of Sahaya.
Based on a report from PEP, Sahaya lead stars talked about their show being pitted against Coco Martin’s show FPJAP.
Bianca Umali said lots of their “BiGuel” supporters will now be able to watch their program now since most of them are young boys and girls.
“Tama naman po yun since most of the people who support Miguel and I are young people, the earlier time slot will help us para mapanood nila kami,” she said.
According to the report, Bianca Umali stated that they are concentrating of the plot of their tv series and not on the rating competion.
“Ever since we started the show, we never really based our show on the ratings or time slot or kung ano yung katapat namin or sino—we only focus sa story naming,” Bianca said.
Based on the report, Miguel Tanfelix admitted that he felt challenged since their show was being pitted against the longest-running action series in the country.
“Siyempre alam naman namin na yung show na katapat namin ay sobrang established na, kung baga mas motivated lang kami ngayon,” he said.
Surely, these actors and actresses just want to give entertainment to all the Filipino people every evening.
