Disney Casts Halle Bailey As Ariel In The New Little Mermaid Remake
LITTLE MERMAID – The classic Disney movie is about to get a new live-action remake, and the company chose Halle Bailey as Ariel.
The Walt Disney Company has released tons of movies that has left marks in most of our childhood memories. Most Disney original franchises and movies have been successful and was made known worldwide.
Recently, their latest release “Toy Story 4” made so much that it topped the Box Office charts.
Some of the things most known to be connected with Disney are the Disney princesses. These princesses have been an inspiration for millions of kids aspiring to be one.
One of the princesses that are well-known and popular, is the sea princess, Ariel. The movie Little Mermaid features Ariel’s adventure as she trades her voice for a pair of feet to follow where her heart leads her find her true love.
Soon, a live-action remake of the classic movie will be released as its already underway. And it was reported that the Chloe x Halle member Halle Bailey is about to become a part of the Disney world.
Bailey was chosen as cast for the next live-action Disney movie to play as Ariel. Rob Marshall – director – has revealed he spend months meeting with talents, the singer has clearly been a leading choice since the beginning, according to information from insiders.
This is according to an article from Variety.
Marshall also stated that the singer has the qualities that would match with the character saying:
“After an extensive search, it was abundantly clear that Halle possesses that rare combination of spirit, heart, youth, innocence, and substance — plus a glorious singing voice, all intrinsic qualities necessary to play this iconic role.”
