Viral Video Woman Licks Blue Bell Ice Cream Then Returned To Freezer
BLUE BELL – A video went viral when a woman was recorded on camera licking a conatiner of Blue Bell ice cream before returning it to the freezer.
Last time, we have heard of a viral video last year where a Tiktok user goes to 7-eleven, grab a donut, took a bite, then returns the eaten donut back to the display, then leaves.
A similar incident happened in an unknown supermarket, where a woman grabs a tub of ice cream, licks it with a big smile, then puts the tub back into the freezer.
According to DailyMail, the eight-second video gaind 8 million views on Twitter and sparked an outrage on social media. Some netizens suggested that it is a felony to tamper with food and have called for the woman to be arrested.
Other netizens said that the said woman is from San Antonio and it took place at Walmart but that is yet to be confirmed.
As per the report, in response, the Blue Bell Creameries ice cream released a statement:
‘We want to thank our consumers for alerting us to the recent food tampering incident. We take this issue very seriously and are currently working with law enforcement, retail partners and social media platforms. This type of incident will not be tolerated.”
“Food safety is a top priority, and we work hard to provide a safe product and maintain the highest level of confidence from our consumers.”‘During production, our half gallons are flipped upside down and sent to a hardening room where the ice cream freezes to the lid creating a natural seal. The lids are frozen tightly to the carton. Any attempt at opening the product should be noticeable. We will continue to monitor this situation.”
