Former daring actress Anjanette Abayari is now engaged to a pastor in California after several years of being away from the limelight.
Anjanette was one of the famous daring stars during the 90s and she was also one of the lucky actresses who played the iconic role of Darna.
She went controversial when she was caught possessing drug paraphernalia at the Guam airport back in 1999.
Since she is a US citizen, former President Joseph Estrada declared her persona non grata. However, the former actress stood firm in an interview in 2017 that the drug paraphernalia didn’t belong to her.
Based on the report from PEP, the former actress went back to the Philippines in 2015 after being away for 15 years.
Reportedly, she hinted about her showbiz comeback but it did not happen. Then, speculations rose that her boyfriend was the major factor why she did not pursue her return to showbiz.
Anjanette Abayari has been engaged to Gary Pangan, a pastor in California, since March 2018.
According to the article, a source revealed that Gary has a deep affection towards the former actress even to her 2 children, Aiden and Ashton. Anjanette had her kids from two different men before having relationship with the pastor.
It was also said that friends of Anjanette are happy that she finally found the man who gives her happiness.
In addition, the former daring star showed a great change in her life when she met Gary.
Anjanette Abayari is also helping her fiance in preaching through his YouTube channel. She is the “reader” of the scripture, based on the report.
