Pinoy Singer Kris Lawrence Victimized by ‘Rent-Tangay’ Modus Operandi

The popular Filipino singer Kris Lawrence was victimized by a modus operandi called ‘rent-tangay’ after a renter did not return his car.

Kris Lawrence said that a renter named Jumaril Buenaventura rented his three-month-old car on June 21-25 2019.

Buenaventura supposed to return the car after five (5) days but the singer could not contact her anymore starting June 24.

“On June 21st, Jumaril Buenaventura, she rent the car and it was supposed to be until June 25 and meron po akong GPS sa mga sasakyan ko. Nung 24 naka-offline na so ibig sabihin either naputol or nasa area siya na walang signal,” Lawrence said.

On June 25, Buenaventura messaged Kris that she would like to extend the rent for one more day.
