VIRAL – A professional blogger shared a video of his daughter keeping a tight defense during a basketball match and went viral!
There is a classic saying the goes: ‘A good defense is a good offense.’ Professional basketball players spend much of their time not only training for offensive tactics but also for effective defensive strategies.
A few years ago, a young Filipina also went viral for her insane basketball skills.
Probably observing how the professionals do it, this young girl applied what he learned about defense strategies in basketball game.
Professional blogger Chaps from Barstool Sports, also hosting a military podcast “Zero Blog Thirty” shared the adorable video on Twitter last Monday.
The clip shows the blogger’s 7 year old daughter playing defense against another player. It can be seen how tight she keeps the defense in the video.
Chaps also made a blog post about it on Barstool’s web log.
He explained the scenario in a humorous fashion, writing:
“From the moment my daughter stepped between the lines, it was all business. It wasn’t about glory. It wasn’t about herself. It was about the will to do exactly what her coach asked her. Whistle to whistle. Second to second. She was to lock down her man. That’s exactly what she did. It’s old school, baby.”
After the clip was posted, it almost instantly went viral. Getting so much attention, Chaps then had a conversation with My San Antonio about the footage.
Chaps talked about the footage and revealed that it was from his 7 year old’s first ever basketball practice. He said he instructed her to ‘stick on defense’ and she was obedient.
The 7 year old then responded affirmatively saying: ‘Got it, dad.’
Chaps said that his daughter “…has a tenacious little personality all the time, she’s just a wild card — she tries really hard at everything she does.”
