Facebook’s Instagram Launches Ads To Explore Feeds For More Market Opportunities
INSTAGRAM – In order to expand market opportunities, Facebook-owned Instagram plans to launch advertisements to Explore feeds.
According to Inquirer, the team said that the ads will appear in the Explore Feed in the coming months. They further noted that 80 percent of people follow a business on Instagram, and said that the Explore feed can help them find the next business or product they might love.
“Whether it’s shopping, catching up on stories or discovering the latest trends, we see people actively looking to connect with brands they like. That’s why, over the next few months, we’ll be introducing ads in Explore feed.”
They further said that the rollout wouuld be done “slowly and thoughtfully”. They also said that this will be an “opportunity to be part of what’s culturally relevant and trending while reaching new audiences who are looking to discover something new”.
As per the report, eMarketer analyst Debra Aho Williamson said that the advertising inside the app is very popular and Explore will open up a pipeline of valuable new ad inventory.
Williamson further noted that half of Instagram users use Explore, thus, making it a highly popular feature. The analyst lastly said that she hopes the advertisers will adapt to the app’s ad placement.
