SOCIAL SCIENCE – The Science Of Human Society And Relationships And The Following Fields

SOCIAL SCIENCE – In this lesson, we will discuss one of the major branches in Science that deals with the human society and its fields: social science.

Social Science

It is a major branch of science that deals with human society and the relationships of humans in a society. Here are the following branches:

Anthropology – The science of the totality of human existence. This branch deals with the integration of different aspects of the social sciences, humanities, and human biology.
Communication studies – The study of human communication.
Economics – derived from the two Greek words οἶκος oikos, which means family, household, estate; and νόμος nomos, which means custom, law, economics is the study of analyzing and describing the production, distribution, and consumption of wealth.
Education – the sharing of knowledge, wisdom, and positive judgment.
Geography – study of the lands, features, inhabitants, and phenomena of the Earth and planets.
History – the study of past human events.
Law – a set of rules that are made to regulate human behavior
Linguistics – the study of the cognitive and social aspects of human language
Political science – the study of the theory and practice of politics.
Psychology – The systematic study of human behavior and mental processes
Sociology – The study of human society and man’s relationship to societies, the consequences of difference, and other aspects of human social action.
