Most people claim that education is one of the primary keys to success and to achieve their goals in life.
Many parents usually struggle to send their children to school due to the soaring prices of the basic commodities and even school supplies.
Education in public schools are free but students still have to pay several school fees, pencils, ballpen, papers, notebooks, and bags.
Recently, a Facebook user named Sophous Suon has shared the photo of a young student carrying a backpack made of raffia string.
A first-grade student named Ny Keng of Lumphat Primary School in Lumphat, Battambang province in Cambodia goes to school barefoot due to extreme poverty.
Keng’s father could not afford to buy a bag, so he find ways to give his son something he could for school.
The poor dad used “Raffia Strings,” a plant similar to Abaca to create a bag for his son and dyed it blue.
The impressive string bag has straps so it could be used as a backpack and there’s even a clash to ensure that the bag can be closed.
Sophous Suon was impressed so she decided to take photos and post it on social media.
