BASIC SHAPES – Geometric Shapes Children Must Learn First
BASIC SHAPES – In this topic, we will learn the basic shapes that we can teach to children who are starting or beginning to learn.
When we were kids, in order to communicate, we were taught how to draw basic shapes like circle, square, oval, etc. As adults, this is also the same reason why we need to teach children how to different one shape from the other.
The same goes for people who are starting to draw. As much as we want to draw anything, we have to learn them as these are the “bones” to support the masterpiece.
So here are the basic shapes children has to learn and draw, and in our case as adults, teach our kids to learn and draw:
Circle – a shape that has no sides.
Triangle – A shape that has 3 sides.
Square – a shape that has 4 equal sides.
Oval – A shape that has no sides and is longer than a circle
Rectangle – A shape that has 2 long sides and 2 short sides.
Diamond – a shape that has 4 diagonal equal lines. Also known as rhombus.
