6 Students Rushed to Hospital After Zamboanga Covered Court Collapse
ZAMBOANGA – Six Grade 9 students rushed to the hospital after the covered court in Zamboanga collapsed.
Accidents can happen to anyone any time anywhere. It is an unintentional act so we must stay cautious and observant to anything we see around us.
These unplanned events mostly happen in roads. It may be a clashing of vehicles or a person hit by a car.
Some of the most fatal accidents happen in buildings or establishment. We can never be too sure about the quality of the foundation.
Like the incident that happened in Chuzon Supermarket in Pampanga. Lots of shoppers were buried alive after an earthquake struck the area.
Some people blamed the establishment for the tragic incident. They claimed that there was a problem in the building foundation.
On Monday morning, June 24, the covered court of the Sinubong National High School in Zamboanga City collapsed.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, the covered court was just built recently and was turned over to the said school in 2018.
The collapsed building is worth 4 million pesos.
According to the report, six Grade 9 students suffered minor injuries after the school covered court collapsed this morning.
The student was in the middle of their class exercise when the roof of the covered court caved in.
Some teachers of Sinubong National High School said it been raining in their place for days now.
Based on the report, the 6 students who got hurt were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital, Labuan Public Hospital.
We can all hope that all of the victims will recover very soon and the covered court to be fixed.
