Daughter of Juan Ponce Enrile lambasted the “passed” meme
Katrina Ponce Enrile, the daughter of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile, lambasted the “passed” meme circulating on social media.
The 95-year-old politician has spent most of his years in the government. Despite his age, JPE is still active in politics.
However, there are memes about him circulating on social media that appeared to be stating regarding his passing away.
The meme said: “BREAKING NEWS. Former Senator and notable Filipino politician Juan Ponce Enrile, who is a key figure in the ouster of former Philippine President Ferdinand E. Marcos, quietly passed by his bedroom door this morning. He is 95.”
Due to this, the daughter of Juan Ponce Enrile has broken her silence on social media.
Through the recent Instagram post of Katrina Ponce Enrile, she lambasted the meme. She also said that they know who is behind the below-the -belt blow against her father.
She told the maker of the meme to stop doing this and to leave them alone. Katrina reiterated that the malicious caption of the post is really mean.

“My father is still alive. It’s alarming to get so many messages asking me if my dad just passed away. He is actually eating right now. I know who started this vicious fake news. Do you want me to name you? Please have a heart and stop! Have a heart and leave us alone! If you think this is a joke, it’s a bad joke. You are a heartless human being to think that it even constitutes as being humorous or entertaining! And if you wish that upon anyone, then shame on you. I understood your caption but it’s totally malicious and meant to mislead people. For you to be able to even think, say, write and post this is just unbelievably mean!”
Katrina also used the hashtags “JPE”, “stop bullying”, and “fake news”.
