Man Stealing Cellphone of Sleeping Bus Driver in Bus Terminal Caught On CCTV Camera
MAN STEALING – A man was caught on camera stealing the cellphone of a sleeping bus driver.
Most of us can’t wait to crash in our beds and sleep after work. Aside from food, it’s the best way to recover from stress and body pains.
Even if we travel or having our vacation somewhere far, we love to sleep long hours after that.
But how much more are the drivers? We can’t blame them for sleeping in their car seats after driving or somewhere pleasant for them to lie down.
We can see lots of these hard-working drivers in the bus terminals in the Philippines. They just lie in the passenger’s waiting area when they have no trips yet.
Recently, a sleeping driver was taken advantaged by a man at a bus terminal.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, a bus driver was sleeping in the passenger’s area with a young boy. He placed his cell phone on his belly.
While the driver and the young boy was sleeping, a man walked towards them and simply took the driver’s phone. He and the boy didn’t notice him.
After he noticed that his phone was gone, he immediately reported to the terminal’s security guard.
According to the report, the incident was caught in the CCTV camera of the bus terminal. The terminal’s security guard, Jhun Rey Fernandez, said the suspect returned to the bus terminal after a few days.
The suspect stayed on the same spot where he took the driver’s cellphone. The security noticed something unusual to the man so they decided to review the CCTV footage.
There they confirmed that the 51-year-old suspect is the one who stole the driver’s mobile phone.
Based on the report, the security guards immediately call the police to arrest the suspect. The man denied all their accusations. Unfortunately, the cellphone of the driver was not returned to him.
The head of the bus terminal said that it’s possible that it has been a modus of the suspect for a while now. They have received several reports similar to the incident.
