Filipino individuals are mostly family-oriented. This coming Holy Week, most of us will take the opportunity to go home to our families. So huge crowds of passengers at public terminals are expected.

However don’t forget to be cautious, as large crowds may cause exhaustion and may lead to heatstroke. Here are six tips to avoid the possibility.

Passengers began to arrive at the station in massive numbers trying to rush home to their provinces to spend the Holy Week break.

Meanwhile, the National Capital Region Police Office chief,
P/Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, announced that more police officers will be deployed in the area to secure passengers as they are expected to continue arriving in huge numbers.

This is based on the report from Manila Bulletin. According to the article,

It is also expected that the number of passengers would be doubled this upcoming days. This made P/Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar decide to put Metro Manila in red alert to focus more police attention to the area.

He also said that he wanted all the bases to be under watch as more police officers will be deployed to different parts of LRT and MRT stations, train stations, airports and docking ports.

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We will post updates as soon as we got them.
