Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao and undefeated Keith Thurman is about to face in the ring on their July 20 welterweight brawl. During some conferences, the two faced each other a couple of times and exchanged words.

Thurman has seen letting out remarks against the veteran boxer including one where he said he was going to send Pacquiao to retirement.

His old trainer veteran coach Freddie Roach also revealed that Manny has started again with his aggressive approach. This was noticed after the 30-day countdown until his fight with Thurman has began last Thursday.

The two are about to brawl next month. Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world champion while Keith Thurman is an undefeated WBA Champion.

Their bout is set to happen at the MGM Grand Arena at Los Angeles on July 20th.

Recently, the Filipino boxer has already started with his intensive training to prepare for the next fight. He arrived at Los Angeles the previous week to start working with his old times coach Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym.

The 40 year old boxing legend was reportedly ‘riled up’ by Thurman’s negative remarks.

Pacquiao also revealed that Thurman’s trash talking has considered it as a propelling factor to fuel his training camp, speaking from his LA home to AFP.

When he was asked about his response to Thurman, the older boxer kept his cool and took the remarks as a motivation, saying:

“My response to him is we’ll see. He is giving me more motivation and determination to work hard and prove that it’s not true.”

All the trash talking also got the people’s champ inspired, he said:

“I’m happy that he’s saying that … It gives me inspiration to focus and do the best that I can in the ring.”

This is according to an article from GMA News.

However, this response by the boxing champ contradicts what his colleagues have said.

For instance, Justin Fortune strength and conditioning coach and former Australian heavyweight revealed that Pacquiao was ‘pissed off’ after hearing the remarks.

“He’s said some pretty silly stuff,” Fortune said. While roach claimed that Pacquiao was ‘upset’ after knowing about the comments from Thurman.

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
