Ethel Booba has a fiery reply to the comment of Jay Sonza about Pinoy fishermen

Comedienne Ethel Booba slammed former journalist Jay Sonza’s remark on Pinoy fishermen who were abandoned by Chinese vessel.

Apparently, Jay was not convinced by the statement of Pinoy fishermen regarding the incident. Through his Facebook post, the former news anchor stated 7 points why the story of the fishermen seemed to be unbelievable for him.

Here are the points that Jay Sonza stressed out:

  1. sabi madilim at wala silang nakitang palatandaan na barkong tsino ang bumangga.
  2. nilangoy daw nila ang Vietnamese fishing vessel sa layong 5 miles o 8 kilometro. wow! lintek sa galing at tibay sa languyan.
  3. nakihiram lang daw sila ng radyo sa mga Vietnamese para makontak ang Navy ng Pilipinas.
  4. ang tanging pamantayan daw nila na tsino ang barkong bumangga ay ang istilo ng pamalakaya. paano nila nasabi samantalang sila mismo ang nagsabi na ubod ng dilim at walang silang naaninag man lang. teka muna, wala man lang mamatay o malubhang nasugatan sa kanila.
  5. sabi hindi daanan ng mga Vietnamese boat ang lugar at nagkataon lang na nandoon Sila ng mga sandaling yaon. what a coincidence.
  6. paano nakontak via radio ng Vietnamese boat ang Phil. Navy? there is more than meets the eye on this piece of story. bakit may nakasama kaagad na media ang sumaklolong navy boat.
  7. I don’t want to suspect that this incident is a well planned CIA back scenario. Gary and Stella are former member of the navy. just saying.

This lenghty post from the former broadcaster earned scrutiny from Ethel Booba.

The comedienne shared a screenshot of Jay’s post with the caption: “Grabe yung number 4 nya na “wala man lang namatay o malubhang nasugatan sa kanila.” Diba sabi ng mga mangingisdang Pinoy na they rowed using small boats for 2 hours to reach the 4 nautical miles location ng mga Vietnamese? Former jounalist pero di marunong makibalita.”

Ethel did not forget to include her famous expression “Charot!” on her comment to Jay.

Aside from this, the comedienne also slammed pro-Duterte blogger Sass Sasot for her comment which appeared to be questioning how the Pinoy fishermen that it was a Chinese vessel, based on PEP’s report.
