Meanwhile, this software engineer apparently utilized most of his learnings in real life applications.

After noticing that he’s unable to accommodate his wife’s messages, a Chinese software engineer recalled his excellent skills in programming and applied it to design a chatbot to respond to her when he’s unable to attend to the messages.

One of the messages that the bot send to his wife was:

“Baby, this is our 618th day together. Hope you’ll feel bright as the sun.”

The engineer identified as Li KaiXiang was found out to be an employee in an E-commerce platform. He shared his story on Weibo.

The man also claimed that the chatbot operated 24/7 responding to his wife’s messages.

The chatbot worked efficiently for quite sometime and has exchanged messages with the man’s wife on WeChat for more than 300 times by the time he get off from work.

The girl, however, eventually noticed something suspicious with the speed rate of her husband’s responses.

Li’s profile on Weibo was apparently taken down but many netizens have already kept screenshots of his post that has gone viral on the internet.

People who have seen his story have lauded him for being such a genius and some admired him saying the gesture was romantic.

Other commenters even asked for the source code.
