Jimuel Pacquiao Wants Dad Manny Pacquiao To Retire From Boxing
MANNY PACQUIAO – Amateur boxer Jimuel Pacquiao wants his father Manny Pacquiao to retire from boxing.
Philippine Senator and professional boxer Manny Pacquiao is considered one of the most famous personalities in the world.
The Filipino boxer has won several belts in boxing and helped lots of his fellow countrymen.
The 40-year-old boxer showed his son his footwork, a combination of jabs and evading defense. Jimuel eventually won his first amateur fight via knock out.
Based on a report from PEP, Jimuel Pacquiao wants his father Manny Pacquiao to retire from boxing.
The 18-year-old boxer said he wants to hide his father’s gloves permanently to divert his attention into his other interest like his family and politics.
“Actually me, personally din, kasi the sports is scary nga, and he’s not getting older, it would be okay for me if he would retire,” he said.
According to the report, Manny Pacquiao will always receive endless support and love from his eldest son.
“But for me lang, it’s not… It’s like nga na it’s his choice, so I support him kahit ano ang kanyang desisyon,” said Jimuel.
Based on the report, Jimuel Pacquiao was asked if he also wants to continue his father’s legacy in boxing.
“Well, depende pa rin, kasi ngayon po, amateur pa rin ako… kapag nagging professional na po.”
“Iba naman kasi kapag nagging professional na po,” he added.
