Sen. Grace Poe Visits Veteran Actor Eddie Garcia at Hospital
GRACE POE – Re-elected Senator Grace Poe visited Eddie Garcia at Makati Medical Center and spoke on her ties with the veteran actor.
Currently, Eddie Garcia is fighting for his life at the hospital after an accident on the set. On June 8 (Saturday), the veteran actor seemingly tripped on a cable wire during a taping and fell on the ground.
Eddie was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, his condition is not good and fell in a comatose state. Until now, the veteran actor has yet to regain his consciousness.
Prayer brigades for the recovery of Eddie Garcia are on going now. Also, many of his family and friends have visited him at Makati Medical Center including Sen. Grace Poe.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN, Sen. Grace Poe went to visit Eddie Garcia at Makati Medical Center but refused to speak regarding his condition. Instead, she revealed her ties with the veteran actor.
According to the lady Senator, she already know Tito Eddie since she was a kid as the veteran actor is often one of the co-stars of her late father, Fernando Poe Jr., in his movies.
With regards to Eddie Garcia’s condition, she expressed that it is best if details or information would come from the veteran actor’s family.
Based on the report, due to the incident involving Eddie Garcia, Sen. Grace Poe will be looking after the welfare of the people working in showbiz. She stressed that there should be a stand-by medical rescuers and doctors during the taping.
“Isang bagay ’yan dapat may medic du’n na trained kasi siyempre kung sila sila lang, hindi naman nila alam papano magbigay ng paunang lunas, importante ’yun. Hindi sa pagsisisi maski na kanino,” she said.
