Still Unidentified Person Shot Laguna Chairman After He Asked for Road Direction

LAGUNA CHAIRMAN – A barangay chairman in Barangay Bubukal in Sta. Cruz was shot by a person he asked a road direction from.

Undeniably, alarming and heartbreaking incidents continue to happen in some parts of the Philippines.

Recently, another sad news about a barangay chairman crossed the surface.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a Laguna barangay chairman identified as Toctoc Pandakila was shot by a still unidentified person he asked some road directions from.

According to the police authorities, the victim is the chairman of Bagong Silang and he was with a tanod when the incident happened.

Pandakila reportedly owns a van and he is using it for public transportation.

Based on the report, on Tuesday evening, the chairman was about to meet his passenger and he went out with a tanod when the incident unexpectedly happened.

Because he does not know the place very well, Pandakila reportedly asked for some road directions from a man on the street. Unexpectedly, instead of responding to him, the man shot the barangay chairman.

The victim was able to drive his vehicle away from the area until it fell on a canal. The suspect followed him and shot him again.

Unfortunately, Pandakila did not survive the incident. The suspect managed to escape using a motorcycle.

As of this writing, there are still no further information regarding the incident.
