This is the version of Bela Padilla of the Bb. Pilipinas question from Joy Belmonte
Actress Bela Padilla shared her version of the Bb. Pilipinas 2019 question from Quezon City mayor-elect Joy Belmonte.
Mayor Joy was one of the distinguished judges in the most prestigious national pageant in the Philippines.
During the coronation last June 9, the female politician had this question to Miss Masbate Hannah Arnold: “What is your message for the young and new breed of politicians that won in the recent elections, for example, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto?”
The candidate from Masbate had this answer: “Well, I would like to say that I’m so proud to be a millennial right now. The youth are building our nation. We’re on the road to a better nation, a better world, and it’s thanks to these politicians. So, thank you!”
Bela Padilla was one of the celebrities in the Philippine entertainment industry who shared her thoughts regarding the recently-concluded pageant.
She particularly pointed out the question from Mayor Joy Belmonte. The actress did not just notice or mention that question but she shared her version of it.
Bela has this tweet: “Watching Bb. Pilipinas a day late and found mayor Belmonte’s question very interesting. More than asking the young what they think, I’d rather point the question to the older politicians. What do you, in office longer than we’ve been born, think that we feel the need to step up?”
Here are some of the comment from netizens to the post of the actress.
