In the recently held 35th PMPC Star Awards for Movies, the highest grossing film “The Hows Of Us” is among the movies which bagged the most nominations. And the lead star Kathryn Bernardo has snatched her first ever best actress trophy through this film.
In a report from Bandera, she reportedly said in her speech as she personally accepted the award, “Ang dami kong whys last year before we shot ‘The Hows of Us.’ And then ‘yung pinakabaon na natutunan ko sigurowhile making this film and ‘yung itinuro sa akin ng universe, is that life is not perfect. It doesn’t always go the way we want it to be. Itong award na ito, this is a validation that true dedication really does pay off.”
She also stressed and shared the failures she had gone through and all of these being an essential part of life. To dream big, according to the actress, is alright. It is okay to dream big as long as one is trying and trying despite the failures as time will come that you will also have that shot of making it come true.
Their film THOU has broken all records in the film industry for successfully earning a total gross amount of almost 1-billion and hailed as the highest earning film of all time.
