Binibining Pilipinas candidate 2019 successfully crowned as our Binibining Pilipinas International 2019, Bea Patricia Magtanong, is the one who just passed the 2018 BAR examinations. There were about 1,800 examinees out of 8,155 applicants who have passed the licensure examination given on November 2018 at the University of Santo Tomas (UST). Her father is also a lawyer.
The Bataan native beauty is already 24 years old. She bagged the special awards such as Binibining Megawide and Best in swimsuit. As a graduate of law, she wanted to promote the rights of prisoners, maintaining that even they have rights to humane treatment.
In her video in the pageant, she stressed giving value to the family especially the parents. She said, “But now that I’m older, I realized that there’s really nothing like your family. No one’s gonna love you. No one’s gonna support you the way your family does. And I’m really looking forward to meeting all kinds of people.”
During the crucial final question and answer portion, the judge asked her, “If you have the opportunity to meet somebody globally influencial, who would that be and why?“
And her answer goes this way, “I really idolize Angelina Jolie because she was blessed wth such a thriving career in Hollywood, but then, as a woman, she was able to use that influence, that voice, and that audience to advocate for the causes that she believes in, like world hunger with the UN. And someday, if I am given the chance, I would like to be just like her. Thank you.”
