DUTERTE – President Rodrigo Duterte promised to cut travel from Cubao to Makati in just 5 minutes.

One of the undying problems in the Philippines in the traffic most especially in the big cities like Metro Manila.

Due to the increasing number of companies and establishments in the city, people mostly got their jobs in this location.

Even the people from the province, they relocate in Manila to earn enough money to finance their family.

Almost everyday employees are having a hard time to commute. They pile in lines for several minutes and sometimes come to their workplace late.

The traffic issues can really affect our jobs that is why government agencies are doing their best to end this.

Based on a report from ABS-CBN, President Rodrigo Duterte said traveling from Cubao to Makati will only take 5 minutes soon.

“You just wait. Ayaw kong mag-ano. Things will improve. Maybe god-willing December smooth sailing na,” he said.

The president believed that things will change by the end of 2019. People usually spent at least an hour traveling to those place but he trusts that it will be reduced to 5 minutes.

“You don’t have to worry about traffic. Cubao and Makati is just about 5 minutes na lang,” he added.

According to the report, President Duterte said his recent visit to China really benefited his plans for the country.

“Mabuti nalang nagpunta ako ng China. China nagtulong,” said Duterte.

Based on the report, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said the road projects are underway.

Among the project that will end the Manila traffic are the Metro Manila Skyway Stage (MMSS3) and NLEX-SLEX Connector Road Project.
