Blackpink fans did not like the apology from Shopee
Online retail store Shopee apologized for what happened during the Blackpink meet and greet but fans of the K-Pop group lambasted their apology.
Allegedly, Shopee scammed the fans of the Korean singers through their promo that will determine the highest spenders who will get a ticket for the event.
Based on a previous report, fans were devastated when Shopee revoked the tickets of the winners just a day before the event.
Some fans pointed out that celebrities and influencers who did spend as much as they did were prioritized.
Aside from the alleged scam, avid supporters of Blackpink also stated that the group was not well accommodated by the staff of Shopee.
In line with this issue, the online retail store released an official statement.

Dear Shopee users and BLACKPINK fans,
We would like to sincerely apologize for the issues involving the Shopee x BLACKPINK meet-and-greet today in Manila.
We hear your feedback loud and clear, and we understand that the event fell short of the high standards that Shopee users and BLACKPINK fans expect.
Although we took immediate steps as soon as we discovered the problems to ensure the rightful winners of our contest could claim their prizes, we know that the entire process caused confusion, disappointment, and upset for many.
We are reaching out to all those affected by this issue, and we are also taking steps to ensure that such an incident does not occur again in the future.

However, fans slammed the apology from the store. Some demanded refund while others said they would file a legal complaint against Shopee.
There are some who said that they will boycott the online store because of what happened.
