MYSTERIOUS DEATH – Dream vacation of married couple David and Michelle Paul in Fiji turned into their stunning mysterious death.
Of what supposed to be a vacation of a lifetime of couple David Paul and Michelle Calanog Paul in Fiji has turned into everyone’s nightmare – their death – to which as of now remained uncertain and mysterious to their families as the authorities could not identify the cause of their death yet.
Their family who was left in Texas was searching for answers as why such tragedy of young married couple has happened. They have arrived in Fiji on May 22 but days after, they were rushed to hospital due to severe symptoms. They ended up dying few days apart after suffering vomiting, diarrhea, and numbness.
Michelle’s father, Marc Calanog told TODAY, “Nobody’s telling me what was the cause of the death. And that’s very hard for me… My feeling is … as parents we are not supposed to bury our children. That is very hard for me. Very hard.”
The remains of the couple will just be sent to the US once the illness that caused their untimely death would be identified. Furthermore, according to agency, “We are closely monitoring local authorities’ investigation into the cause of death. We stand ready to provide all appropriate consular assistance.”
They have a son who was just two years old while David had a daughter from a previous relationship. Calanog added, “Every time people call my wife, she cries very hard. But I keep telling my wife we got to stay strong because we have a new job, Ayden. We have to take care of Ayden.”
