Here’s President Duterte’s Statements About Curing Himself From Gender Confusion
PRESIDENT DUTERTE – President Rodrigo Duterte apparently said he was once gender confused but he cured himself with “beautiful women.”
The president has been observed to have a different sense of humor. Maybe because of his presidential status, most of his jokes are often considered controversial.
In a recent speech he made to the Filipinos in Tokyo last Thursday, president Duterte made comments as he was accusing Senator Antonio Trillanes IV of being confused with his gender.
Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV has been known for being a critic of the President and his administration.
In his statements, he claimed that he, too, used to be confused with his gender but he managed to ‘cure’ himself with ‘beautiful women’.
Duterte claimed that a gender confused person talked to him about the way Trillanes moves which allegedly exposed him for having confusions with his gender.
The president expressed how his first wife helped him to stop being confused in his statements:
“Good thing Trillanes and I are similar [seemingly referring to being a gender confused]. But I cured myself. When I began a relationship with Zimmerman, I said, this is it. I became a man again.”
Zimmerman was the president’s first wife who he married back in 1973. Elizabeth Zimmerman and President Duterte were married since then until the year 2000.
He then concluded with a statement revealing that he was apparently cured by “beautiful women”, saying:
“So, beautiful women cured me. I hated handsome men afterwards. I now prefer beautiful women.”
Later in the speech, he called on five young women to get to the stage to give him a smooch. His current partner Honeylet Avanceña was also in the same event.
