In a previous report, the Department of Education (DepEd) announced the schedule for the opening of classes in the academic year 2019-2020.

Today, thousands of students got up early and prepared for school as they resume their classes.

In Rizal High School in Pasig, more than 11 thousand students showed up to attend their classes.

More than 200 classrooms will be utilized to cater the huge crowd of students in Rizal High School.

The designation of teachers as proportioned to the number of students was also calculated. It is expected that there would be one teacher for every 50 students.

Earlier, the routinely followed flag ceremony was held in Rizal High School’s Oval. Student’s showed up as early as 6 am to attend the ceremony that started around 6:30 am.

The program lasted for quite some time wrapping everything up by 7:20 am.

During the ceremony, while standing on the oval to participate in the program, some pupils felt dizzy and had to be pulled out by the standby medical team.

The school’s medical team responded right away and has attended the pupils to avoid further health risks.

Police Officers also came into the campus to secure the students, teachers and everyone around the vicinity on the first day of school.

They also gave out flyers to serve as guide for them to secure their own safety.

This based on the Twitter post of Mark Malalad.

A video of the school’s principal Gilbert Inocencio was posted by Malalad, the principal said that there isn’t really that much of a problem in the school as they have enough classrooms and chairs for everyone.

There were only a few minor problems which the school’s staff could deal with quickly.

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
