Is fashion designer Puey Quinones scammer?
PUEY QUINONES SCAMMER – LA-based Pinoy nurse Ben Ferrer has these controversial claims against the fashion designer Puey Quinones about millions of investments.
In 2011, the Pinoy fashion designer Puey Quinones who is now based in Los Angeles got involved in an issue where it was even dubbed as fashion scam after a friend of a famous personality revealed that he used a ready-to-wear suit for the groom. He was lambasted. In his statement, he just indicated based on PEP’s report, “I was simply pressured to create a suit and found a perfect blank canvas to develop. I know the entire situation could have been handled better but now it has just been blown out of proportion and affected so many others.”
Another controversy he got involved with was with a certain Peter Gregory about monetary issues.
And now, a certain Ben Ferrer, a US-based Filipino nurse has revealed controversial claims about how his kindness was abused by Quinones after he invested millions of pesos of money to his creations and business. “At first, he made me believe that our brand will take off. He made me believe that I will get my money back and eventually earn from it. I paid his studio’s rent, equipment, fabric, out of pocket expenses, personnel, models, even his very glitzy promo agent. And that was a most expensive mistake,” the post of Ferrer on Facebook has said.
He lost his hard-earned money to which approximately amounted to more than or less than $100,000.00 or equivalent to Php 5,220,050.00. Moreover, “So Puey extracted everything he could get out of me. He took advantage of my kindness. He also used me to connect with a few friends from the Hollywood Press. The sad thing is once my financial resources had dried up, Puey dropped me like a hot potato and latched on to a new brand called Coco Melody. He abandoned me without guilt nor responsibility.”
