PSHS, popularly known as “Pisay” is the leading science-based high school in the country. All of the students in this public science school are assisted by the government with scholarship grants.

The alleged sharing of vulgar photos happened in thei main campus at Quezon City.

The Board of Trustees in Philippine Science High School (PSHS) released an official statement yesterday calling for the public to respect the privacy of the six accused students to be respected.

The six male students were accused of allegedly sharing exposing photos of their female classmates.

PSHS also shared the official statement on their official Facebook page. The Board of Trustees expressed their dismay upon hearing the bad news about their students.

The students involved were not allowed to join the recent graduation rites as a consequence for the alleged misbehavior they took part in.

They asked for the public and the media to respect the scholars’ privacy in order to protect them, in their statement:

“We pray to the media and the public at large to respect the privacy and maintain the dignity of our scholars, and not aggravate the issue further which unnecessarily puts those children’s future at risk.”

The Board Of Trustees also refuted other reports, saying that they are the only ones authorized to make a decision with regards the graduation/scholarship termination.

It was stated that the Board Of Trustees’ decisions follow guidelines that are “based on extensive consultation and comprehensive facts, including but not limited to precedent cases and specific circumstances.”

This is according to an article from Yahoo Ph.

However, it was confirmed earlier that the six accused students were not allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony today. Also, only three of the accuses will be awarded a diploma while the remaining three will only receive COCs or Certificates of Completion.

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
