In this couple’s wedding, a case of eat and run – going to an event just for the reception and taking off right after – ruined their memorable experience.
It is a very common attitude that is considerably rude for the event planners, other guests and especially for the newlyweds.
A freelance photographer, Diosdado Maghirang, took the photos and posted it up online after he witnessed the eat and run case.
The couple can be seen sitting on a couch with only a few guests around after a lot of them took off. Some of the people left in the venue weren’t even guests, but part of the team in-charge for the catering.
The case was so disappointing, even the wedding planner had to say something about it.
The wedding planner revealed his/her feeling about the rude behavior, stressing after seeing the guests leave the venue after eating.
The wedding planner also reportedly felt bad watching the couple searching for guests and only a few can be found.
He/she also left an advice for other clients they might work with in the future.
“To our future clients, think before you invite siguro [maybe].”
Also advised against inviting people they have no personal relationship with. After the post was made, netizens had different reactions to the case.
