BOBET VIDANES – The director of noontime show Its Showtime Bobet Vidanes has these intriguing statements following issues about the “biggest network”.
Based on a previous report, former singer Jimmy Bondoc lambasted the “biggest TV network” in the country stating that he would happy to see it close down. He said in controversial Facebook post, “I am so excited to see the biggest tv network close down. This company is a snake pit, where success is based on politics and sexual favors.”
Thus, Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin slammed his statement on Twitter stating, “Let me be the one to break this news to you so you don’t have to make excuses. The network might not be perfect but for you to be happy about thousands of people losing their jobs is pure evil.”
And today, Before the “Bidaman” segment of the show has started, the creator and director of Its Showtime Bobet Vidanes has stated, “65 taon na pong nagseserbisyo ang ABS-CBN. ABS-CBN di bale, kahit na magwalis na tayo at magsasaka na lang tayo, sama-sama pa rin tayo.”
To which was agreed by hosts Vice Ganda, Jhong Hilario, Vhong Navarro, and Anne Curtis. Vice said, “Masarap kaya magsaka basta may kasama ka.”
Its Showtime is a Philippine noontime variety show that has started airing on television in October 24, 2009, on ABS-CBN. This is the second live entertainment program in the Philippines to be broadcast in high-definition and the longest-running daily noontime variety show after MTB (1998–2005).
The current hosts of the show are Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Karylle, Amy Perez, Mariel Padilla, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ryan Bang, Jhong Hilario, and among others.
