Famous Celebrities Show Strong Support For ABS-CBN Network
ABS-CBN – Several celebrities showed their support for the ABS-CBN network.
Recently, Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin gave a final statement on Jimmy Bondoc’s controversial statements about the fall of the biggest tv network.
The two celebrities have been sending fierce messages since the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) official said the unnamed tv network “ruined the art and culture.”
Meanwhile, Angel Locsin’s fellow Kapamilya stars aired their reactions on their respective social media accounts.
“Kung Paano Siya Nawala” lead actor JM de Guzman shared a photo of the logo of ABS-CBN celebrating its 65th year. It came with a caption, “this “network” saved my life.”
Veteran actress Agot Isidro also shared the same photo and penned the year she started working in ABS-CBN.
“Started my career here in 1992. Still here.”
Actress Kaye Abad also posted the photo with a caption saying “A Certified and Proud Kapamilya since 1994.“
Singer Ronnie Liang took to the social media to express his disagreement to Jimmy Bondoc’s statements.
Kapamilya singer Angeline Quinto expressed her disappointment of the PAGCOR official’s controversial post.
Angeline said she admired the former singer but she felt offended after wishing the unnamed tv network’s downfall.
“Isang bagay lang ang itatanong ko, nasaan ang salitang utang na loob sa pagkatao mo,” she said.
Also, the veteran actress Sunshine Cruz also shared on social media how ABS-CBN helped and raised back her career.
Sunshine narrated on her post all the good things the network has given and provided her and her three daughters throughout the years. She also talked about the people who are being ungrateful to the company who helped their growth and success.
“Marunong lang po tayong tumanaw ng utong na loob sa mga tao na nagging bahagi ng ating growth at success.”
“Hindi dapat ipagbunyi ang pagkawala o pagsara ng isang company na nakakatulong sa maraming tao at pamilya,” she added.
