“Bikoy” Links LP To Alleged Duterte Ouster Plot, VP Robredo Reacts

ROBREDO – Vice President Leni Robredo put down the accusations of alias “Bikoy” linking the Liberal Party to the alleged plot to oust Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

Currently, one of the trending and most controversial issues in the political arena is about the “Bikoy” videos. In the said videos, a person linked the Duterte family to drug trade in the Philippines.

Recently, a man named Peter Joemel Advincula claimed he is alias “Bikoy”. He withdrew the drug accusations against the Duterte family.

Along with pulling his previous allegations against the first family, “Bikoy” linked the Liberal Party in an ouster plot. Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s name was dragged in the issue.

Vice Pres. Leni Robredo reacted to the accusations of alias “Bikoy” to the Liberal Party. She put down the allegations and stressed that she has not even met him in person before.

Based on a report on GMA News, the Vice President expressed in her press conference that she will never be part of “any destabilization”. She stressed that presidency is a destiny and should not be planned about.

“Waste of time ‘yung pagpapalano para pabagsakin ang administration. Besides, it is a subversion of the will of the people,” she said.

According to VP Robredo, the first time she saw Bikoy was when he showed up at the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. She also put down his claims that the Liberal Party is behind the plot.

“I can speak for our party, wala kaming kinalaman sa Bikoy issue, wala kaming kinalaman sa ouster plot, kaya unfair na isabit ang LP rito,” she said.

Based on the report, the Vice President stressed that alias “Bikoy” is a liar for his claims that they met. According to her, she and Otso Diretso did not talk about the alleged ouster plot but focused on the campaign.
