Psy Confirms Release of 9th Studio Album In July

PSY – South Korean artist PSY took to the social media to announce his comeback with his 9th full album.

South Korean rapper, record producer, songwriter, and singer Psy is known for his humorous stage performances and music videos.

The 41-year-old pop star became known to his famous songs such as Hangover, Gentleman, and Gangnam Style.

He became the “King of Youtube” after the music video of ‘Gangnam Style’ become the 1st ever video to reach 1 billion views.

In a previous article, South Korea asked Psy to perform in North Korea along with South Korean artist.

The plan was part of the reconciliatory moves of Seoul for the inter-Korean summit last April 2018.

According to Ladbible, North Korea opposed the plan due to the artist’s “provocative performance style.”

Meanwhile, Psy just announced that he will be releasing his 9th album this coming July. It’s been two years since the pop star released his album ‘4×2=8’ in 2017.

On his Instagram post, he asked his fans and supporters what he should name his upcoming album.

The Korean pop star’s upcoming album will also mark his comeback since the creation of his very own entertainment label, P-Nation.

Psy also announced that he will be performing his new songs on his solo concert this summer.
