In the senatorial race, Sen. Bam Aquino’s votes played around the 11-14th rank mostly. In the same ranks were fellow candidates Bong Revilla, JV Ejercito and Nancy Binay.

Although Bam Aquino has not secured a seat in the senatorial elections, he reportedly did great in several areas, specifically the top provinces where the most number of voters are.

This was concluded after the analysis of the partial unofficial results released by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting or PPCRV.

Some of the top provinces with the most voters are:

  • Cebu – 3,082,621 voters

  • Pangasinan – 1,946,682 voters
  • Laguna – 1,903,107 voters
  • Negros Occidental – 1,889,200 voters

These provinces are considered the top five provinces with regards to voter population.

Out of these five provinces, Aquino only landed outside the winning magic 12 in Cavite where he ended up in the 13th rank.

However, he still garnered 194,903 votes from the province.

Caviteños’ top picks for the senatorial race were Aquinos’ fellow reelectionists, including Cynthia Villar who gained 898,346 votes, Grace Poe with 815,34 and Francis Tolentino with 755,596. (Francis Tolentino was the former political adviser of the president)

This is according to an article from Manila Bulletin.

Meanwhile, 662,682 voters picked Bam Aquino in Cebu results. He also gained 498,155 votes in Pangasinan, 195,278 in Laguna and 561,106 in Negros Occidental provinces.
