Cancer Scientists Pursued Project To Control Cancer Evolution

These Scientists Pursued A Medical Study To Possibly Stop Cancer’s Evolution

CANCER SCIENTISTS – Scientists from Britain are launching a medical development program for the newly founded “Darwinian” drug.

Cancer has been in the 2nd rank in the charts of the leading causes of death, next to heart disease. It has victimized millions of people.

Recently, a grade six pupil delivered her graduation speech after she was diagnosed with cancer. The speech brought sadness to her audience and to the digital world as pictures of her were shared online.

To beat the rampant cases, there were numerous studies about the illness that seemed untreatable. Countless efforts and money have been exerted towards the progress of these studies.

Meanwhile, in London, United Kingdom, reportedly presented another contribution to the studies battling with cancer. Their ‘anti-evolution’ project will direct its focus to altering cancer and transforming it into a drug-susceptible controllable disease for the years to come.

Scientists told the media reporters during a briefing that the outcome would sort of be like HIV – the AIDS-causing virus.

Paul Workman the current chief executive of Britain’s Institute of Cancer Research or ICR explained a part of the basis of their study in his statement:

“Cancer’s ability to adapt, evolve and become drug-resistant is the cause of the vast majority of deaths from the disease and the biggest challenge we face in overcoming it.”

This is according to an article from GMA News.

Institute of Cancer Research or the ICR is a charitable research institute the will lead the Centre for Cancer Drug Discovery.

Workman also claimed that the new centre will “seek to meet the challenge of cancer evolution head on” by impeding its evolutionary process.

The ICR provided 75 million pounds ($96.5 million) in funds for the centre.

Olivia Rossanese, Cancer Drug discovery specialist said that this new approach to drug discovery could be our “best chance yet of defeating cancer.”

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
