Bong Revilla Thanks Supporters For Their Trust
BONG REVILLA – Politician Bong Revilla Jr. thanked his supporters as he entered the so-called ‘magic 12’ senators.
Filipino actor-turned-politician Bong Revilla Jr. sought to return to the Senate after he was acquitted from his plunder case.
The 2-year-old politician was allegedly involved in the pork barrel scam led by Janet Lim-Napoles.
Bong Revilla is currently one of the leading senatorial candidates based on the partial and unofficial result.
In a previous article, the list of areas where the actor-politician was mostly voted was revealed. He got most of his votes in Pangasinan, Cavite, Bulacan, and Cebu.
Recently, Bong Revilla expressed his thoughts regarding the partial results of the votes. It seems the politician was satisfied by the unofficial result.
“We know the result are partial and unofficial, pero dahil galing ito sa transparency server, it is very encouraging. There is only around 5% remaining to be tallied,” said Bong.
Based on the Twitter post of CNN Philippines, Bong Revilla thanked all his supporters who voted for him.
“Bagaman kailangan nating hintayin ang official count, nagpapasalamat po tayo sa lahat ng lumabas at bomoto at ipinakita na bhay na buhay ang demokrasya sa bansa. Nagpapasalamat din po tayo sa mga nagbibigay ng kanilang tiwala at suporta”
“As always, everything is in God’s hands,” he added.
