Several netizens expressed their conclusion why Kapamilya actress-host Alex Gonzaga attended the private dinner at the Malacanang Palace.
Several netizens got invited to the said dinner with President Rodrigo Duterte, including A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz who allegedly acted weird during the event.
TV host/journalist Gretchen Ho was also spotted there and she explained that she received an invitation with no specification that it was just for Duterte supporters.
However, Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said that it was a thanksgiving dinner for celebrities who support the President.
As Alex Gonzaga and her sister Toni Gonzaga were also there, several netizens attacked them.
The younger Gonzaga explained on her now-deleted tweet that she did not really know the purpose of the event but the ABS-CBN management allowed them to attend. With this, the actress-host received criticisms.
On the recent Twitter post of ABS-CBN showing the Gonzaga family at the voting precinct, netizens expressed their conclusion why Alex attended the private dinner.
