A few years ago, the president welcomed communist leaders to the government. The president offered to give Cabinet posts to communist leaders.

Back in May 16, 2016, the president opened the Cabinet posts including:

  • Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR),
  • Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE),
  • Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and
  • Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

Meanwhile, in Metro Manila, participating riders in the movement: “Ride! Ride! Ride! to End Communist Insurgency” gathered volunteers as they motorcade through the streets in their eight stop route.

Riding from Quezon City Memorial Circle (QCMC) going to Edsa Monumento in Caloocan, C4, C3, Roxas Blvd., Mall of Asia, the Eastern Police District area and then back to QCMC again.

Ryan Favor, a rider from Angkas Riders group in Quezon also participated in the movement stating that this could raise public awareness of the need to put a stop to communism-related predicament s in the country.

According to Favor, this motorcade activity could also help distinguish groups that are announced to be allegedly linked to communist rebels looking to win in an elective spot.

In an interview, Favor also claimed that other party lists are connected to CPP-NPA in his statement

“Ngayon lang namin nalaman na ‘yong ibang party-list pala kahanay ng CPP-NPA (Communist Party of the Philippines – New People’s Army). Hindi ko alam kung anong party-lists ang may mga (koneksyon sa) CPP-NPA. Ngayon, at least may idea na kami.”

“We’ve just learned now that other party lists are connected to the CPP-NPA(or Communist Party of the Philippines – New People’s Army). I don’t exactly know which party-list has a connection with the CPP-NPA.

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
