Director James Cameron Congratulates ‘Avengers: Endgame’ for Sinking ‘Titanic’

TITANIC – Prominent director James Cameron congratulated Avengers: Endgame for beating his movie ‘Titanic’ on global ticket sales.

The Avengers movie is considered one of the most remarkable films in this generation. Superhero fans love it because of its amazing graphics, storyline, and actors.

Based on a report from Variety, Avengers: Endgame earned $644-M in North America and $1.6-B overseas now.

The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film became the fastest movie to earn $2 billion. Endgame defeated the record holder “Avatar” which was directed by James Cameron.

The 64-year-old director is also the director of the “Titanic” which garnered $2.187 billion tickets worldwide.

According to the report, Avengers: Endgame surpassed “Titanic” with $2.27 billion and counting ticket sales today.

James Cameron took to the social media to congratulate the producer Kevin Feige and those behind the most popular superhero movie.

“To Kevin and everybody at Marvel, an iceberg sank the real Titanic. It took the Avengers to sink my Titanic. Everyone here at Lightstorm Entertainment salutes your amazing achievement.”

James Cameron also noted that Avengers: Endgame just proved that the movie industry is “bigger than ever.”

“You’ve shown that the movie industry is not only alive and well, it’s bigger than ever,” he added.
