2 Austrian Vloggers File Complaint Against Taxi Driver Over Extortion

An abusive taxi driver identified as Jhumil Bule is now facing driver’s license suspension after extorting two Austrian vloggers.

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) is now urging the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to suspend the driver’s license of Jhumil Bule for extorting Austrian vloggers Michael Holaschke and Anela Hrnic.

Michael Holaschke and Anela Hrnicare were vloggers promoting the beautiful sceneries in the Philippines on their YouTube channel.

The Austrian vloggers take a regular taxi at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) heading to Pasay City.

After a few moments, the foreign passengers were shocked after Bule asked an additional fee for their luggage.

The foreign nationals filmed the incident but the taxi driver suddenly rants after noticing the passengers recording their conversation.

The driver also threatened the foreign vloggers saying “If you will not pay extra [for] luggage, you drop [here].”

MIAA also prohibited the white regular taxi from entering NAIA.

However, the Austrian vloggers told the public that it was only an isolated incident since most taxi drivers are honest and respectful.
