Japan Is Currently Looking For Applicants , Needing 50 Nurses And 300 Care Workers

JAPAN – Philippine Overseas Employment Administration or POEA revealed that Japanese establishments are hiring 50 nurses and 300 care workers.

A few months ago, Japan also offered 350,000 job opportunities for aspiring overseas Filipino workers. They were in need of workers with adequate skills in health care, building maintenance, food services, industrial machinery, electronics, food manufacturing, agriculture, hospitality, construction, shipbuilding, fisheries and aquaculture, parts and tooling and aviation.

Meanwhile, POEA announced just recently, that Japan is once again looking for workers in the medical field. They on the search for skilled workers that are willing to work abroad and could fit their provided standards.

The deadline of submission of application forms in POEA regional offices is on May 10, 2019 (Friday). However, the deadline of submission for POEA central office in Mandaluyong City is extended until May 17, 2019 (Friday).

This is according to an article from Radyo Inquirer.

For aspiring applicants, POEA released the set standards for qualification.

The qualifications for nursing applicants are:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (with valid PRC license)
  • At least 3 years of Hospital Work experience
  • Must be motivated and committed to work
  • Study as candidate for “Kangoshi” to get a National License in Japan

For care worker applicants:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (with OR without PRC license)
  • Graduate of any four-year course but should also submit Tesda National Certificate II (NC II) in Care Giving
