Philippines’ CIDG Recently Started Hunting For Alyas Bikoy
CIDG – Philippine National Police or PNP’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) began hunting for Peter Joemel Advincula or Alyas Bikoy.
Alyas Bikoy caused an online mayhem after his narration revealing controversial information about the president’s relatives and allies. In a video called ‘The True Narcolist’, the hooded narrator revealed several allegations linking the president’s relatives and allies to drug transactions.
In a text message sent by the spokesperson of the PNP to the Inquirer, Police Colonel Bernard Banac stated that they are asking the public to report leads that could be useful in arresting the suspect to authorities.
The manhunt operation, according to Banac, started with intentions to seize Peter Joemel Advincula or Alyas Bikoy. It was initiated following reports that Advincula had pending cases of estafa filed by the Municipal Trial Court of La Trinidad, Benguet back in September 2007.
On top of that he also has a pending warrant of arrest for largely-distributed illegal recruitment filed against him in 2007 by the Court of Baguio.
This is according to an article from Inquirer.
Police Colonel Balac also revealed that their office have already obtained and secured a copy of both pending warrants.
Based on prior reports, Advincula was also sent behind bars back in 2012 and released in 2016 for illegal recruitment cases. There also allegation that he could be used by the opposing politicians trying to defame the president.
It was not mentioned if Advincula is hiding as of now, but what’s certain is that the CIDG is on the chase.
That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
