EARTHQUAKES – Here is a list of the quakes that hit the areas in the Philippines today, May 7, 2019.

Every day, a lot of quakes are rocking different areas in the Philippines. The body that records the intensity and other details about the quake is the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology or PHIVOLCS.

Through a bulletin posted on its official Twitter page, Phivolcs relays to the public details about the quake such as its specific location, its magnitude, its depth, and its origin.

In its bulletin, the body also advises the public whether there is an expected aftershock or damage caused by a certain quake. Some recorded earthquakes are actually aftershocks of other quakes.
