After the rainfall, a netizen Jake Diaus captured a video of the garbage fill along the Balili River.

This morning, the city’s department for environmental preserve went ahead and helped remove the garbage from the Balili river by lifting it with an excavator.

A backhoe was needed to clean up the river since the garbage fill was so massive and was comprised of tons of plastics, diapers, tin cans, rubber and other wastes.
